This listing is for our full-size duck eggs.
Our duck eggs may seem a little dirty, and that’s because we don’t wash them. Here’s why: Duck egg shells are pours but have a natural, protective membrane called a “bloom” that guards them against bacteria. Washing dirty eggs removes this membrane and draws bacteria into the egg. Passing the task of washing the eggs onto you, our customers, means you pay less, and your eggs last longer.
We recommend washing your eggs just before use and also wash your hands after handling them.
